• Blood on the Dance Floor was formed at Orlando, Florida, United States in 2007 by Dahvie Vanity. The original name of the band was "Love the Fashion". Since then, the band have had been many different lineups and at the moment the band consists of Vanity and Jayy von Monroe.
• The debut album of the band called "Let's Start A Riot" was released independently in April 2008. In September the same year, the band released their second album "It's Hard to Be A Diamond in A Rhinestone World".
• During the year 2009 the band released three EP albums which were "I Scream I Scream", "OMFG Sneak Peak" and "Extended Play".
• In October 2010, the third album of Blood on the Dance Floor "Epic" was released as a digital download under Candyland Records. The album contains 22 tracks. "Epic" spent five weeks on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart peaking at number 5.

The fourth album of the band was released in June 2011 under Candyland Records. This album was also available only as a digital download. The album peaked at number 13 on Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart spending there four weeks.
