• Parkway Drive was formed in 2002 in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia. The band's name comes from the name of the street where the band's first practicing spaces was located.

• The band's third album called "Deep Blue" released in June 2010 was their first album to reach the US Billboards 200 Album chart. The album peaked number on the chart.
