• Tenth Avenue North was formed in 2000 at West Palm Beach, Florida, United States. The band's name refers to a major road in Palm Beach County. The founding members of the band were vocalist and guitarist Mike Donehey, drummer Jason Jamison and bass-player Bryan Homan.
• Before signing a major recording deal Tenth Avenue North released four albums independently. "Broken Down" was released in 2002, "Don't Look Back" in 2003, "Speaking of Silence" in 2005 and "God with Us EP" in 2006.
• In May 2008, Tenth Avenue North released its first major label album called "Over And Underneath" via Reunion Records. The albums pent 39 weeks on the US Album chart peaking at number 39. The tracks "Love Is Here", "By Your Side" and "Hold My Heart" were released as singles, the first two being number one hits.
• "The Light Meets the Dark" is the second major label album of Tenth Avenue North and it was released by Reunion Records in May 2010. Terry Hemmings was the executive producer of the album. The album reached the TOP 20 on US Billboard Album chart peaking at number 15 and spending 21 weeks on the chart. "Healing Begins" was the first single of the album, released in March 2010.
