• The Devil Wears Prada was formed in 2005 in Dayton, Ohio, United States and it is a christian metalcore band. The band consists of keyboardist James Baney, guitarist and vocalist Jeremy DePoyster, lead vocalist Mike Hranica, guitarist Chris Rubey, bass guitarist Andy Trick and drummer Daniel Williams.
• The band's name is taken from the title of novel by Lauren Weisberger. The film adaptation of the novel starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway holds the same name as well.
• The band's debut album called "Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord" was released in August 2006 under Rise recording label. The album consist mostly of re-recordings of the track from the band's demo tape called "Patterns of A Horizon".
• The readers of the Alternative Press voted The Devil Wears Prada as Band of the Year in 2009.

The EP "Zombie" was the first album of the band to reach TOP10 on US Billboard 200 Album chart peaking number 10 and spending two weeks on the chart. The EP consists of five songs and it was released in August 2010 and was produced by Joey Sturgis.
Their fourth full-length album "Dead Throne" was released in September 2011 under Ferret and Roadrunner recording labels. The "Killswitch Engage" guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz was the co-producer of the album along with the band itself. The first single of the album was released in June 2011 and was called "Born to Lose".
