The Raconteurs discography highlights:

The Raconteurs was founded by "The White Stripes" frontman Jack White and musician and songwriter Brendan Benson in Detroit, United States in 2005.

The story began, when White and Benson wrote a song, "Steady, As She Goes", together which inspired them to make more music together, and so "The Raconteurs" was born.

The band has played a lot of festivals around the world, for example Glastonbury Festival in UK and Heineken Open'er Festival in Poland.

In Australia, the band is known as "The Saboteurs" since there already exists a band called "The Raconteurs" in Australia.

The band's debut album was called "Broken Boy Soldiers" and it was released in 2006. The album was produced by White and Benson at it debuted on second spot in the UK album charts and seventh in US charts. The band supported the album by touring and they played for example as an opening act on eight dates of "Bob Dylan's" US tour in November 2006.

The second The Raconteurs album "Consolers of the Lonely" was released in March 2008. The album received mostly positive feedback from critics and it peaked at number seven on the US album chart. In UK it charted 8th at best.
