There for Tomorrow was formed in 2003 at Orlando, Florida, United States by drummer Christopher Kamrada, bassist Jay Enriquez and vocalist and guitarist Maika Maile. Lead guitarist Christian Climer joined the band in 2006.

The debut album of There for Tomorrow was released independently in April 2004 and it was called "Point of Origin". The band was still a trio on the time the album was released.

In June 2009, There for Tomorrow released its second full-length studio album called "A Little Faster". The album was released by Hopeless Records and it was produced by James Paul Wisner and David Bendeth. Bendeth have previously worked with artists like "Breaking Benjamin", "Killswitch Engage" and "The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus". The album spent one week on US Billboard Album chart peaking at number 181. The tracks "A Little Faster", "Deathbed" and "Backbone" were released as singles.

"The Verge", the third album of the band was released in June 2011 via Hopeless Records. The album peaked at number 14 on Billboard's Heatseekers Album chart spending one week on the chart.
